REFLECTION. PROFILE OF A MODERN TEACHER




We learned that never be afraid to make mistakes. Its okay to make mistakes because: We learn substantially more from failure than success. Failure makes us stronger and contributes considerably towards our personal development. We're more confident to take chances if we're not unafraid to fail.

 We realized that Modern teachers must be able to incorporate different modes of communication to serve a range of learners. Determining the individual needs of students  will also make teachers more aware of their teaching style, and help them to incorporate different elements into lessons as appropriate.


We plan to Be fluent and confident in the language/subject we teach. Know our students 

by Their names, background, interests, learning style. Be passionate about the subject we teach. Be reachable for our students and give them a chance to connect with us. Share ideas with colleagues and collaborate. Focus on Feedback and Reflection. To improve professional development for teachers, there must be clear focus on the groups attending and what their needs are.

        As a future educator, technology provides teachers like more tools to use for supporting the students. reflection on the process of making the non-digital instructional materials.

On making this non-digital instructional materials the one that was assigned to us is “model” the model that we made is “atom model” by making this model we used a styrofoam, pingpong balls, stick, illustration board, scissors, glue stick and color water. This process is simple to make and very useful for teaching. This model that we made can help us teacher/ future educator on explaining, make the lesson more interesting, practical, realistic and appealing on discussing . This also enable both the teachers and students to participate actively and effectively in lesson sessions. In making this Instructional Materials or Educational resources this helps to improve students' knowledge, abilities, and skills, to monitor their assimilation of information, and to contribute to their overall development and upbringing.
